I started my Real Estate Career first as a Licensee in 1997. I obtained my Broker's license in 2000 along with my Appraiser Trainee license that same year. In 2005 I was licensed as a Qualifying Broker, and at that time I opened my own office. I choose the name American Dream Realty because I believe home ownership is the dream of most Americans. I consider it a privilege to assist in the largest buying and selling transactions most people will make in their lifetime.

I have lived in Farmington most of my life, moving here in the early 1960's. I have witnessed first hand the growth San Juan County has experienced over the years. My husband John and I share 3 Daughters and 8 Grandchildren. John is a Mortgage Loan Officer associated with a local Mortgage Company, he and I are also officers in an Investment Corporation that specializes in new home construction. My daughter Stephanie Blackwell is my licensed Assistant, my daughter Shanan Ridens is my Office Manager, and my Grandson Devin Blackwell is studying to become licensed and join the Company.

Prior to my Real Estate Career I spent many years in the Automotive Industry as a Service Advisor, it was during these years I learned the value of Customer Service. I believe in the importance of exceeding my Customers expectations.

I've served the San Juan County Board of Realtors as a Director, and the Secretary/Treasurer. I've also served on the MLS Committee, Bylaws Committee, Budget Committee, and Community Service Committee. I currently serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Farmington.

The Associate Brokers at American Dream Realty and Myself pride ourselves in providing Excellence and Expertise in every Real Estate Transaction brokered through American Dream Realty.
